February is Responsible Pet Owner Month! 

Keep a watch out for local fun and specials to celebrate this month!

Remember that there are several things involved in being a responsible pet owner, including; food, shelter, water, and veterinary care.

Snowy Dog Days

  Be sure to keep your pet safe in the snow!

After taking your dog or cat outside to play, be sure to wash their paws. The salt and ice will work in between the pads and be very irritating and harmful to their skin. 

        Also be sure that your fuzzy critter stays warm!

They need a soft, dry place where they can get in out of the snow and warm up.

Water bowls also have a tendency to freeze. This can be solved by purchasing a heated water bowl or by giving them fresh water in shorter intervals, about every 1-2 hours, depending on the temperature and size of the bowl.
