Snowy Dog Days

Be sure to keep your pet safe in the snow!

After taking your dog or cat outside to play, be sure to wash their paws. The salt and ice will work in between the pads and be very irritating and harmful to their skin.
Also be sure that your fuzzy critter stays warm!
They need a soft, dry place where they can get in out of the snow and warm up.
Water bowls also have a tendency to freeze. This can be solved by purchasing a heated water bowl or by giving them fresh water in shorter intervals, about every 1-2 hours, depending on the temperature and size of the bowl.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello All,

It is looking to be that time of year again. During the holiday season, the staff and volunteers here at the animal shelter would like to send holiday greetings to both you and your fuzzy companions!
Remember to be safe this holiday season and to stay merry!

Also, during this thanksgiving remember to take time out for not only your family, but your community as well. There is always someone in need of help this time of year, including our fuzzy friends at the shelter.

We hope that everyone has a very happy Thanksgiving!

Rescue Group

Currently, there are few animals listed on the website. We are sorry for this inconvenience, but a rescue group came and rescued most of our dogs this morning. Hopefully, these animals will have a better chance for finding their new families.
Thank you for all of your support and please check back soon. There are always loving animals needing homes.
